About Your Assistant Principal

I received my Master’s Degree in Special Education from Lynchburg College in 2006 and began my teaching career at Forest Middle School as a special education teacher that same year.  I received my Education Specialist Degree in Leadership and Administration/Supervision from Regent University in 2016. In 2016, I became an Instructional Coach for Bedford County Public Schools and worked in various schools within the division.  I began my position as Assistant Principal at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in 2018.

My family has been a part of the Forest community for 16 years.  I am a wife, a mother to three wonderful children (Jordan, Hunter, and Taylor) and a Nene to two precious grandsons (Gavin and Pace).  This will be an exciting and emotional year for me as my husband will be retiring after 36 years at UPS, and my youngest children (boy/girl twins) will be seniors at Jefferson Forest High School.
